Excelsior Stadium offers small sided football pitches up to the rental of the full 11-a-side stadium pitch. We have outdoor 5-a-side, 6-a-side and 7-a-side pitches surrounding the Stadium. Pitches are all-weather artificial rubber crumb latest generation surfaces with enclosed fencing, roof netting and floodlighting.
The outdoor pitches can be hired for a minimum of a 1-hour slot, booked on the hour with plenty of outdoor parking.
Bookings can be made for casual one-off pitches via the online booking system. Regular block bookings are also available upon granted application, for the same pitch time every week without the multiple player phone calls. Cancellation notice is 48 hours ahead of your booking.
The 10,000 seater Excelsior Stadium encompasses the main 11-a-side pitch, artificially surfaced in FIFA 2 Star certified synthetic turf. The stadium pitch can be hired for a 2-hour slot for training sessions or competitive matches, amateur leagues, school games or even just a day out with friends looking for that big match experience.
Bookings can be taken any time in accordance with availability with a £200.00 deposit to secure the booking. Cancellation notice is 2 weeks ahead of your booking.
For closed door events, an online streaming option is available for at-home viewing via Airdrieonians FC’s DiamondsTV streaming service, meaning armchair fans can watch on their phone, tablet or TV in the comfort of home. Please ask staff for costs and set-up details upon enquiry.
Spectators can also attend the big day, however, charges will apply for spectator entry to the stands as ticketing, first aid provisions and safety stewards will be required. Spectator entry would be ticket only through the Stadium ticketing system. Ticketing/Spectator charges cover ticketing costs and use of the facilities (seating area, toilets, utilities, clean-up etc). Please ask staff for details upon enquiry.
Changing rooms with coin return clothes lockers and shower facilities can be hired (2 team rooms & 1 referee room), with ample outdoor parking adding to the easy access of the surrounding motorway links. High attendance matches will result in the requirement for car park stewarding and therefore parking charges applied within the Stadium grounds.
Food and drink kiosks can be opened within the Stadium main stand concourse, by prior arrangement subject to expected spectator numbers. Please ask staff for details upon enquiry.
