Scottish Cup matchday info
Airdrie supporters attending Sunday’s Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup fixture against Heart of Midlothian should be aware of the following information.
Due to the expected large attendance, the match is all-ticket. There will be no cash gate in operation - tickets MUST be purchased online in advance. Seating is allocated, and supporters are required to sit in the seat shown on their ticket.
Due to operational requirements there will be no public bar at the stadium on Sunday and no public car parking within the stadium grounds.
Blue badge holders please contact email@example.com to reserve a space. Blue badges will need to be presented upon entry. This applies to HOME fans only.
There will be a traffic management plan in place throughout Sunday. Craigneuk Avenue, Carlisle Road, Petersburn Road, Vansdorf Way, Brownsburn Road and Etive Drive will all be restricted by No Parking cones. We would advise supporters to walk or use public transport to the stadium.
There will also be a large police presence in the town centre and around the stadium. We would ask that all supporters follow signs and instructions given by police officer and stewards.
Searching is a condition of entry and refusal to cooperate will result in admission being denied. Supporters deemed to have consumed excess alcohol will be refused entry. Fans are reminded not to attempt to bring any prohibited items into the stadium, including pyrotechnics which are inherently unstable and dangerous to the user and those in proximity.
Excelsior Stadium is a fully non-smoking stadium and anyone breaching this rule will be ejected, Excelsior Stadium does not operate a system of pass-outs for smokers.
Behaviour deemed unacceptable will result in ejection from the stadium. Issues arising during the match can be reported anonymously - see the posters around the stadium for more information. Our unacceptable conduct policy can be viewed using the link below.
