A group of boys from the local BB Company at Jackson Church in Petersburn were special guests at the recent match against Partick Thistle over the holiday period.

The lads and a couple of their officers were treated to half-time hospitality, as well as getting to watch the game from one of the Executive Boxes at the stadium.

All this was possible thanks to the generosity of a kind-hearted Airdrie fan. 

​

The supporter, who wishes to remain anonymous, felt that Christmas was the ideal time to offer to fund a special treat for a deserving group of youngsters. 

​

Local councillor, Michael Coyle, then identified the group and helped make the arrangements, and of course Airdrie FC was only too happy to conscript a further dozen new fans!
