October is a special month for our Grow the Fanbase campaign, with thousands of free tickets handed out to local schools – and four Diamonds stars got out to spread the word yesterday.

Cole McKinnon, Liam McLeish, Robbie Mahon and Jamie Sneddon were out and about as the first of a number of planned school visits took place.

The quartet made the short journey to Tollbrae Primary School and St Edwards Primary & Nursery, two schools which share a campus a stone’s throw from the Albert Bartlett Stadium.

Splitting into pairs, the players visited a number of classes in each school and answered some fantastic questions from the pupils as well as signing autographs and posing for photographs.

The enthusiastic youngsters were a credit to their schools, and Cole, Liam, Robbie and Jamie had a brilliant time in their company – we’re sure we’ve already gained some new fans and we look forward to seeing them at the home games in October and beyond!

Our thanks go to Tollbrae and St Edwards for their hospitality towards our players and staff, and to Albert Bartlett who once again have played a huge role in supporting the campaign.

The players are already looking forward to their next visits!
