We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Lewis Gibson, who joins the club from Raith Rovers.

21-year-old left-winger Gibson began his career at Queen of the South, playing under (and alongside) his father, Willie. His impressive form earned him a move to Kirkcaldy, where he again caught the eye with his pace and skill on the flank.

Spending the first half of last season on loan at Montrose, Lewis was a stand-out performer, grabbing a goal and six assists as well as two Man of the Match awards and one Player of the Month award.

Having already made four appearances for Raith this season, Lewis now makes the switch to Airdrie, and will be available for tonight’s KDM Evolution Trophy match.
