Cade Melrose is the latest player to extend his Airdrie stay, with the goalkeeper putting pen to paper on a deal for the upcoming season.

21-year-old Cade has 27 first-team appearances to his name after making the breakthrough in 2024/25.

Head coach John Rankin, who was in the opposite dug-out when Cade made his senior debut in March 2025, said: “Cade has proven his ability already, so it’s good to get him signed up and add another piece of the jigsaw.

“We’ve already seen what a promising young keeper he is, and with decent experience already behind him, this is a great platform for him to continue his development.”
