David Hutton has left his position as goalkeeping coach at Airdrieonians, bringing to an end a lengthy association with the club as player and coach.

Joining from Arbroath in 2018, the goalkeeper won the club’s Player of the Year award in his first season, continuing to represent the club with distinction until a move to Brechin City in 2021. A spell at Alloa Athletic followed before the popular keeper returned to Airdrie as goalkeeping coach in 2022, filling in as required and making 17 more first-team appearances to bring his total to 68.

A big personality in the dressing room and on the pitch, David leaves the club with our thanks for his distinguished service and our best wishes for the future.
