Yesterday’s result brought our three-year spell in the Championship to an end as the club’s relegation to League 1 was confirmed.

Our congratulations go to Alloa Athletic as they advance to the play-off final and we wish them well. This week’s results were not solely responsible for the outcome of a disappointing and frustrating season with a number of different factors coming into play.

We are grateful to the Airdrie fans who have been unwavering in their support across the campaign.

The club will now begin preparations for next season, and updates will be provided as and when appropriate.
