New defibrillator for the Diamonds
We were delighted to take delivery of a brand new defibrillator yesterday, thanks to a special scheme arranged by The Scottish Football Supporters Association and part-funded by The Scottish Government and the charity Chest Heart Stroke Scotland.
The device will join others already located at the Albert Bartlett Stadium to provide a potentially lifesaving intervention in the event of a cardiac arrest being suffered by anyone in the stadium.
Our thanks go to Paul Goodwin of the Scottish FSA, who delivered the device in person yesterday. Pictured with Paul are midfielder Liam McStravick and Diamonds fan Fraser McKennan, who accepted the defibrillator on behalf of the club.
