As announced recently on social media, the club are holding a very special celebration dinner to commemorate the centenary of Airdrie’s momentous 1924 Scottish Cup triumph - and applications for tickets are open now.

In April of 1924, a Diamonds team featuring such stars as Hughie Gallacher, Bob McPhail and double-goalscorer Willie Russell defeated Hibernian at Ibrox to lift the coveted trophy for the only time in the club’s history.

100 years on we are honouring the occasion with a number of special events, led by a prestigious evening at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld on Sunday, April 28th at 7:00pm.

Among the speakers on the night is our guest of honour Sir Alex Ferguson, a true legend of the game.

Tickets are now available at a cost of £100 + VAT, and you can apply by emailing Gordon Watson (gw@airdrieonians.co.uk) using the link below. Successful applicants will be advised and invoiced in due course.

Return coach transfer from Excelsior Stadium to the Westerwood can also be reserved at the time of booking. This will cost an additional £10 per person, and again spaces are limited.
