Stuart Millar has stepped down from his role as club ambassador in order to take up a position with a Premiership club.

With last June’s ambassadorial appointment, Stuart returned to Airdrieonians for a third time having previously enjoyed spells as a player and director of football. Just as with his previous roles, he represented the club passionately with his own brand of warm wit and professionalism.

As he prepared to move on this week, Stuart told airdriefc.com: “It’s been a privilege to be in and around the football club in recent years as it continues to make huge strides both on and off the pitch.

“I wish all Airdrieonians continued success.”
