Academy U18s striker Dominic Kavanagh has been rewarded with a senior contract following a stellar season with the young Diamonds.

The 17-year-old bagged 20 goals in his first season in the youth setup, and got a taste of first-team action when he came on as an extra-time substitute in January’s Scottish Cup tie at Dundee.

Having trained with the first-team on a number of occasions, Kavanagh’s talents haven’t gone unnoticed by the senior coaching staff, who were keen to reward the youngster with the chance to make the step-up.
