Goalkeeping coach David Hutton has agreed a deal to return to Airdrie, and will once again register as a player alongside his coaching role.

The 38-year-old stopper has been a hero to Diamonds fans across his two spells with the club, mirroring a memorable penalty save at Parkhead with a similar feat against Dunfermline last season to earn his side a vital point.

Returning to the club as a player-coach last season, Hutton will resume the role as we head into the Championship - and will be hoping for similar rewards as he continues to work closely with number 1 Josh Rae.
