Dean McMaster is the latest player to join Airdrie’s squad for the upcoming Championship campaign, signing a permanent deal following last season’s successful loan from St Mirren.

Midfielder Dean needs no introduction to the Diamonds support, having made 24 appearances during a season-long loan from the Paisley club, and will now join subject to SFA clearance.

Impressing in the holding midfield role, 20-year-old Dean is comfortable in a number of positions across the middle of the park, and will be looking to continue his impressive progress following a solid first season at the Excelsior.

Needless to say we’re delighted to have Dean back, and look forward to seeing him in a Diamond once again.
