With a number of contract registrations being processed today, we can provide an update on some movement within the first-team squad.

Following a loan spell at Stranraer, we are delighted to welcome Salim Kouider-Aïssa back to the playing squad. Salim had continued to train with the club and remained a big part of things during his time at Stair Park, and his return is welcomed by everyone at Airdrieonians.

Meanwhile the goalkeeping department has seen two departures.

Dean Lyness has moved on following the conclusion of his contract, and Alex Henderson has joined Glentoran back in Northern Ireland. Alex was keen to explore the possibility of a move back home after the NIFL Premiership side expressed an interest, and he joins Dean in leaving Airdrie with our thanks and best wishes for the future.
