Trust spread Christmas cheer

Airdrie Community Trust have helped to bring some Christmas cheer to the local area, donating over £500 worth of toys to local children.

The Community Trust made the donation to Craigneuk Residents Association, who are delighted to be able to pass the gifts out in the community.

Sharon Craig, who organises the Residents Association’s toy drive, said: “At this time of year it is vital to spread some Christmas cheer to all.

“The football club and Community Trust have always been amazing when it comes to helping out, and this year is no different.

“This donation will allow us to put a smile on the faces of many local children and help them to have a brilliant Christmas.”

ACT Trustee and Airdrieonians director Gordon Watson added: “Sharon does such a wonderful job in the local area, and it’s essential that children have a special Christmas.

“The Trust and the club are always delighted to help!”
