Following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season, a number of players and staff are departing the club with our thanks and best wishes.

Goalkeepers Jay Cantley and Max Currie, defenders Josh Kerr, Luke Lyons and Scott Walker, midfielders Matty McDonald and Dean Ritchie, and strikers Jordan Allan and Patrick Pyott will all be leaving upon the expiry of their contracts.

Following a tremendous season in the Diamond, midfielder Dylan Easton has opted to join Ian Murray and Scott Agnew in moving to Raith Rovers, and we wish him every success at Starks Park.

Loanees Kyle MacDonald (Dunfermline Athletic), Brody Paterson and Jon Afolabi (Celtic), Scott McGill (Hearts) and Justin Devenny (Kilmarnock) have returned to their parent clubs, and as always we will watch their next moves with interest.

Our sincere thanks go to all the departing players for their efforts during their time at the club, and we wish them all the very best in their future careers.

Discussions are ongoing with the remainder of the playing squad, and updates will be provided in due course.

Meanwhile goalkeeping coach Jim Low, head physio John McMenemy and data analyst Mark McMenemy are also moving on, and again we thank them for all their hard work during their time at Airdrieonians.
