Thomas scoops SPFL player award

It’s been quite a month for Thomas Robert, and the Diamonds midfielder has topped it off with the SPFL League One Player of the Month award for November!

Robert began the month with an electrifying performance in the 5-0 home win over Clyde, and while the Frenchman wasn’t on the scoresheet that day, his general play was a driving force in the impressive win.

Three goals in three games followed for the 20-year-old, each as spectacular as the last.

In the Betfred Cup tie at Livingston, Thomas put the Diamonds in front with a stunning angled drive before opening the scoring against Forfar a week later, involved in a slick passing move which ended with a deft finish from the edge of the box.

Perhaps saving the best for last, Thomas grabbed the equaliser against Cove Rangers last weekend with a wonderful left footed strike.

Voted as the club’s Player of the Month by fans on social media, Thomas today followed this up with the SPFL award - we’re sure you’ll agree it’s well deserved, and we hope it’s the first of many accolades in a Diamond shirt!
