Kids go free with Albert Bartlett
Our free under-16s season ticket scheme will continue into the upcoming season, thanks to Albert Bartlett - Britain’s leading grower and packer of potatoes.
The world famous Airdrie-based suppliers have a long history of supporting the club, with a particular focus on youth, and we’re delighted that they have teamed up with Airdrie Community Trust to fund free season tickets for our young supporters.
Michael Jarvis, Head of Marketing at Albert Bartlett, told us: “We are very happy to be partnering with Airdrieonians to provide an opportunity for young people to support their local team.
“We are sure they will enjoy watching the action on the pitch and we hope they will be inspired to take part in sport themselves - powered by Albert Bartlett potatoes, of course!”
And Airdrie Community Trust’s Gordon Watson added: “On behalf of the Community Trust and the club, I would like to thank Albert Bartlett for this generous partnership.
“The kids-go-free scheme is of great benefit to the club and to local supporters, so we’re delighted that it is able to continue and that we’ll continue to see plenty of young fans cheering on the team in what is sure to be an exciting season.”
As before, the offer will be open to anyone under 16, and details on applying will be announced when season tickets go on sale.
Fans aged between 13 and 15 will be able to apply on their own, while those under 13 will be eligible to apply with an accompanying adult season ticket holder, as ground regulations stipulate that children under this age must be supervised.
The club would like to express their gratitude to Albert Bartlett for making this offer possible, and for recognising the importance of our young supporters in terms of the future success of the team.
Together we hope to make season 2020/21 one to remember, and we look forward to seeing as many of our young fans as possible getting behind the team!
