We are delighted to announce that Dale Carrick has signed a contract extension which keeps the popular striker at the club until the end of the 2020/21 season.

 

Dale joined Airdrie from Livingston in January 2018 and made an instant impression, scoring 90 seconds into his Diamonds debut.

 

With 12 goals to his name already this season, the 26-year-old’s form has been a major factor in the club’s promotion drive, and we’re delighted by the commitment he has shown in extending his stay.

 

Dale told airdriefc.com: “I’m delighted to extend my contract, I’ve enjoyed my two years here and I’m looking forward to continuing that.

 

“I’m hoping to get to my 100th appearance and to keep scoring the goals that will hopefully get us up to the Championship!”

 

Manager Ian Murray added: “We’re really happy that Dale’s agreed to sign, and it’s another good addition for next season.

 

“Continuity is very important, and Dale’s done brilliantly for us this season and been a vital member of the squad.”
