Diamonds fans are invited to an open training session at the Penny Cars Stadium this Saturday morning.

 

With there being a big turnaround in the playing staff over the summer, the squad would like to invite supporters to meet them at Saturday’s training session.

 

With this weekend’s Betfred Cup fixture taking place on Sunday against Clyde at Hamilton, the team will be training on Saturday morning (July 20) and players and staff alike felt this is would be an ideal opportunity to meet the fans.

 

Doors will open at 11:30am for supporters to watch the last half hour of training. The players will stay on the pitch for another 30 minutes so they can put some fans through their paces. This is aimed at younger supporters, but big kids will not be turned away! Fans must wear appropriate footwear to join in on the pitch.

 

Players will then mingle for a while to chat, sign autographs and offer photo opportunities. Players will be available until 1.00pm.

 

Season tickets will also be on sale, so make sure you pick yours up as the league campaign begins in just two weeks time.

 

You can also enter a competition at the Meet and Greet on Saturday to guess the starting line-up for Wednesday night’s home match against Queen’s Park. Entry costs £1, and correct entries will go into a draw to win two tickets for the home game against Hamilton Academical on Saturday, July 27.
