The Diamonds get the final quarter of the league season underway tomorrow, and club captain Sean Crighton has called for everyone involved to get behind the final push for promotion.

With nine games remaining, Airdrie currently sit in third place in the League One table, five points behind leaders Raith Rovers.

On the eve of the crunch tie against fourth-placed East Fife, Sean has urged players, staff and supporters alike to give it their all in the closing stages of the campaign.

He told airdriefc.com: “We realise the importance of the task ahead of us, and the magnitude of the reward. As a squad we’re determined to succeed.

“The players and management are focused on giving their all over the next nine games, and we need the fans behind us now more than ever.

“The support they have shown us at home and up and down the country means so much to every one of us, and we need them to continue to be our twelfth man - starting tomorrow.”
