Suicide Prevention survey

December 3, 2019

Our friends at Suicide Prevention North Lanarkshire are running an online survey concerning the promotion of mental health through community activities provided by football clubs.

As proud supporters of the work that Suicide Prevention do, we would ask that all fans take a few minutes to complete the survey.

Lanarkshire has been particularly affected by suicide in recent years, having one of the highest suicide rates in Scotland and the UK. With rates among men more than three times higher than women, Airdrieonians FC, Motherwell FC and Hamilton Academical FC are keen to do something proactive to improve the mental health and wellbeing of their supporters and the wider community.

To help address this crisis the Clubs are looking to promote better mental health and suicide prevention through the types of activities they provide and the support they offer.

We would appreciate it if you were able to provide some feedback via the survey on how you think the Clubs could best support local action to address the issues facing Lanarkshire residents. All information provided is completely confidential and will only be used to inform any future activities and services we provide.

Please click here to complete the survey before Sunday, December 8.
