We are pleased to announce the signing of defender Scott Walker, who joins up with the reserve squad after leaving Partick Thistle.

 

The 18-year-old, who can also play in midfield, signed for the club after a successful trial period.

 

With strong interest from other teams, the teenager from Cumbernauld was delighted to join the Diamonds.

 

“I’m very happy to have signed.

 

“I’m looking forward to getting started properly and hopefully working towards training with the first team in the future.”

 

Reserve coach James Grant added: “Scott has showed very well in training, and after featuring as a trialist in the last couple of games, he’s done enough to convince us that he can come in and help the team.

 

“Like any boy his age, it’s up to him how far he can go, but he’s done well in his short spell with us and his attitude is great.”
