Stuart Shields has decided to step down from the board of directors at Airdrieonians FC.

The board would like to thank Stuart for his contribution towards the club over the past year, and wish him well for the future.

Stuart has also provided the following statement: "I would like to thank the management, staff, players and supporters of Airdrieonians Football Club for their support and co-operation over the past 12 months.

"With the exciting appointment of Ian Murray as first team manager, I look forward to cheering on the Diamonds to success back in the stands with friends and family."
