With just under two months to go till the first league game of season 2018/19, we are delighted with the response to season ticket sales.

We are already half way to last season's total, with over 150 sales recorded.

Commercial Manager Douglas Allsop said: "The atmosphere in the club shop over the last three weeks has been superb.

"We put together a payment plan for the summer months to make things easier for fans, but only a fraction of people have gone for this.

"Putting tickets up for sale this early gives the club a better idea for budgeting for the new season, and also lets fans get things sorted before going on holiday. I've never understood why we have never done that in the past."

"Personally it’s been great to meet so many fans whose name you recognise from social media. There is a definite optimism about the place just now, and everyone is encouraged by the new signings. It’s the best pre-season feeling I can remember for years!

"We sold 280 tickets last year, but I think we can get to 350 this year. If we could get to 400, that would be amazing. We will be updating the club website daily as the weeks progress, and hope to reach that target.

"Figures for the last 5 years have been: 2017/18 - 280; 2016/17 - 321; 2015/16 – 296; 2014/15 – 303; 2013/14 – 406; 2012/13 – 296."

"We also now have Diamond Discount Cards for all season ticket holders to use with our club partners. The idea behind this is you get a large percentage of your money back by making savings with many local businesses - and they get a kick back also."

The club shop will be open every weekday from 10:00am - 2:30pm, and on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm-8:30pm, until the start of the season.

In addition, for this week only and so people can take advantage of the early bird offer, it will be also open on Wednesday night from 7:30pm-8:30pm, and Saturday 1:00pm-3:00pm before the Brian McPhee charity game.
