Everyone at Airdrieonians FC is delighted to welcome The Harty Group to the club as shorts sponsor for the forthcoming season.

 

The Harty Group - who have four venues in the town and one in Coatbridge - will feature on the home shorts with their distinctive "Eat Drink Relax" logo, and their generous sponsorship is a further boost to the club as we seek to strengthen the squad for the season ahead.

 

Commercial manager Douglas Allsop said: “I have been desperate to get Eddie and the Harty Group on board for a number of years now.

 

"I think what he has done for the town in terms of offering different dining out experiences has been superb. He came on board last year by sponsoring a match, and was then back in the boardroom at the next home game supplying the catering while Jim and Gillian were on holiday.

 

"He is an excellent businessman, but more importantly, proud of his town and his community. Eddie is exactly the type of person we need to attract to the club to be integral to our success."

Eddie Harty was delighted to come on board with the club, and added: "First and foremost, I am a proud Airdrie resident. I have tried my best to improve what we can offer to people of the town, and like most Airdrie fans, am always trying to help with the community.

 

"In the past few years, I have been incredibly impressed with the efforts that the Club and Trust have made into making the club a community focal point, in particular the Sensory Room. My 26 year old daughter Laura is autistic, so I know what a massive help the Sensory Room is to everyone affected - especially the parents.

 

"I have some great ideas on how everyone can work together going forward, and look forward to seeing Airdrie fans in any of my venues. Please always say hello!"
