Following a stunning run of league form, Mark Wilson and Rohan Ferguson have been named Ladbrokes League One Manager of the Month and Player of the Month for November.

 

With head coach Mark only taking the hotseat at the beginning of the month, he got off to a flying start with league wins over Albion Rovers, Brechin City and Alloa Athletic.

The results saw the Diamonds shoot up the league to second spot, where they currently reside.

 

The form of goalkeeper Rohan Ferguson was a big factor in that rise up the table, and the 19-year-old was delighted to receive his first award.

 

He told airdriefc.com: "It feels great!

 

"The team's league form in December was obviously good, coming in the middle of a six-game winning run."

 

And the Diamonds number one was pleased to see his new boss getting the recognition he deserves.

 

"Mark's come in and made a few changes, and his presence in training and at matches has been a big thing for the boys."
