Mark's fundraising efforts continue

27th October 2015

Diamonds diehard Mark Allison proudly sported the new Airdrie kit on Sky's famous Soccer AM show last weekend - now he's using it to raise more funds for charity.

Mark rubbed shoulders with Man Utd legend Peter Schmeichel, Oasis star Noel Gallagher and wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista on the show, and he made sure he had a chat with one of the guests.

The shirt worn by Mark, donated by the Club for his TV appearance, was autographed by legendary guitarist Gallagher and now Mark is auctioning it to add to the astounding amount he's already raised for various charities.

He explained: "It was a proud moment for me wearing the Diamond on TV, and I decided to ask Noel Gallagher to sign it so I could put it up for charity auction.

"All proceeds go to F**K Cancer supporting Maggie's Lanarkshire & pcrf.org.uk.

"The total raised so far is £51,000 and counting, which paid for both Sammy's Shelter and allowed a contribution of £1,500 to be made towards the Trust guys' trip to Mongolia to help pay for a Yurt."

The shirt, pictured below, is being sold in a silent auction. Mark is inviting bids to his email address, markgallison@btinternet.com before 10pm this Saturday (October 31st). The highest bid will win the signed shirt.
