We are delighted to announce that the top team's vital home clash with Stranraer on Saturday October 3 will be "Academy Day".

Every signed Airdrieonians Academy player who turns up in their Club tracksuit that day will get in free and we will have a special game on the pitch at half-time and other events for the families of our Development Players. 

​

Also on that day parents of our Academy player can get a match ticket for just £10 - a discount of £6 on the normal SPFL prices - with other children from the family under 16 into the match for just £2. 

​

We have been moving forward with big plans for the Academy and will be ready to unveil those in the near future. 

​

On Academy Day there will be an event for all Academy parents to come to and discuss the way forward with the coaching staff and Chief Executive Iain King. 

​

And chairman Tom Wotherspoon said: "After a hectic start we are now in a position to start putting some solid foundations in for the future of the Club. 

​

"The Academy is the bedrock of what we want to do at Airdrieonians and this day is just the start of that. 

​

"We look forward to meeting the parents of our Development Players and letting them know about the new structure we are putting in place."

All parents who wish to take advantage of the discounted tickets should contact their team's coaching staff ahead of Academy Day.
