The Club are delighted to announce the signings of Sean Crighton and David van Zanten.

25-year-old Crighton was a regular in Morton's league-winning side last season, and manager Gary Bollan was eager to snap the defender up following his release from the Greenock Club. 

​

A product of St.Mirren's youth system, Sean made over 150 appearances for Montrose and East Stirlingshire before making the step up to League One football with Morton. 

​

Fellow defender Van Zanten (33) hails from Dublin but has enjoyed a long career in Scottish football. Joining Airdrie from Dumbarton, he has also featured for Celtic, Hibernian, Morton, Hamilton and St. Mirren. 

​

Despite having featured most prominently at right-back, David is comfortable in a number of positions, and will add versatility and experience to the Diamonds' new-look back four.
