Another successful month for Airdrie saw boss Gary Bollan pick up the SPFL Manager of the Month award for April - his second consecutive award.

Unbeaten throughout April, the Diamonds notched up a hat-trick of home wins over Dunfermline, East Fife and Arbroath. Bollan's resurgent squad also picked up an away victory at Stenhousemuir and drew at Brechin.

The impressive run, part of a longer sequence of only one defeat in fifteen, saw Airdrie stave off the threat of relegation and secure a final league placing of 6th - unthinkable at the turn of the year.

Gary put pen to paper on a new two-year contract shortly after the end of the season, and this award is further recognition of his remarkable achievements.
