Gary Bollan

23rd May 2014

The Club are delighted to announce that manager Gary Bollan has extended his current contract to May 2016.

With the excellent finish to the season, it was important that the Club build on the momentum we have seen and create a platform for the future.

Chairman Jim Ballantyne said: “Since Gary joined us there has been a slow and steady improvement in nearly every aspect of the Club's performance, and it was important that if we want this to continue - and we certainly do - that we secured the services of our manager as soon as possible.

"We feel we have started a journey that the Board and the fans believe in, and we would like the manager to take us to the next level.

"To his credit, Gary feels that we have only just started to see what can be achieved, and the season came to an end too quickly for us. Now we can all go forward together."

Manager Gary Bollan added “When I came in October, I said that I was delighted to be given the chance to get back into football again.

"It took a while to make the changes I wanted, and there is still much I want to do.

"I now have a chance to repay the faith the Club put in me and planning for next season is well underway. I hope that the fans will back me, the players, and the Board which will allow us to move forward together."

Onwards and upwards.

The Diamonds are sparkling again...
