It was a March to remember for Airdrie manager Gary Bollan as he guided his team to three wins and a draw, and his efforts have been recognised with the SPFL League One Manager of the Month award.

Defeat to big-spending Rangers at Ibrox was the only blip in a month that saw the Diamonds draw away to third-placed Stranraer and pick up impressive wins against Ayr, Arbroath and Forfar.

​

It was a run of results that saw Airdrie climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since October, and Bollan saw his men take their form into April.

​

A great win over Dunfermline, a draw at fellow relegation-scrappers Brechin, and Saturday's win against East Fife mean that the Diamonds have secured League One survival and can now look ahead to next season.

​

Although he is first to acknowledge the players' contribution to the turnaround, the work that Gary has put in to make this happen has been magnificent.
