Chairman's Comments

21st March 2014

Tomorrow we face our biggest game of the season, against Forfar.

After a terrible start to the season, the Club is now back on track and a great deal of credit has to go to Gary and all the backroom staff and all the players. After a difficult period they have worked immensely hard with lots of extra training sessions in the background and the hard work has paid off, so far.

There is now a fantastic feel about the Club and there is now a much stronger bond between the fans and the players which had been sadly lacking. Full credit for the sleeves rolled up mentality which won the battle in Arbroath.

The scenes at the final whistle up in Arbroath were reminiscent of winning a cup final both on and off the park, and everybody who was there has been talking about it ever since. That was the importance of the result.

But that result is now history as we move on to our next challenge against Forfar and the players need (and have earned) a strong home support to help the cause. Now is the time for the fans to get right behind the team as we push our way up the League. The vocal support in Arbroath was fantastic so let's bring that in to every game between now and the end of the season to fight for the cause.

Get along to the game tomorrow and be part of that fight.

Your Club needs you. Will you answer the call?
