We have received very positive feedback about the changes ongoing at the Club this summer - with most comments being about the name change. We thought that Diamonds fans everywhere would want to see this one from one of the 'Texaco Terrors', Roddy MacKenzie...

 

"Please thank the Ballantyne family and the "Wee Prime Minister " for resurrecting the Airdrieonians name. As an ex team mate of Ian's and as a member of the Texaco Terrors I was delighted when the news filtered through to me in Australia. It felt like a long lost family member had returned home. I felt elated, euphoric and proud.

All I need you to do now is to revert back to the black socks with the red and white tops, the white shorts and the white top with the red diamond (although I was in all black) and I'll be in seventh heaven.
