Managers View - Colin Stewart

16th June 2013

Airdrieonians boss Jimmy Boyle has expressed his delight in securing the services of keeper Colin Stewart.

The 32-year-old put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the weekend after finishing last season with Cowdenbeath.

The manager moved quickly to sign Stewart as he continues to build his squad for next term.

Stewart has played for a number of clubs in his career and made more than 240 first-team appearances.

Boyle said: "Colin has played at a high level and he is desperate to get his career back on track.

"He's hungry and has a buzz for the game again. We want him to focus on playing as well as he can."
