We are pleased to unveil the first batch of signings for the newly reformed Airdrieonians Academy.

Academy boss Alan Gow has signed up five midfielders as he begins to shape his Diamonds Under 18 team.

Joining the club are Kyan Gunn, Richard van Crugten, Cole Gibson, Alasdair Spalding and Joshua Tran.

First-team manager Rhys McCabe welcomed the players to the Excelsior Stadium and said: “I’m delighted to see some very talented young players joining the academy, which is a great pathway for the younger players to work their way into a first-team environment.

“We’re looking forward to seeing them progressing and hope that they’ll be pushing for first-team recognition very soon!”
