Reserves snap up local lad Scott

June 13, 2018

Reserve team coaches James Grant and Mick McFaulds have bolstered their squad for next season with the capture of attacking midfielder Fraser Scott.

The 19-year-old, who can also play upfront, featured for Airdrie Boys Club and Dunfermline before spending the last three years with Royal Albert, helping the Larkhall junior side to the West Region Division Two title last season.

As Fraser put pen to paper at the Penny Cars Stadium, coach Mick McFaulds told airdriefc.com: "Fraser caught our eye with some standout displays, and knowing that a number of top junior clubs were tracking his progress, we moved quickly to get him on board.

"He's an ambitious lad, and he knows that joining the reserve squad will give him a platform to push himself into first team contention over the coming seasons."
