Midfielder Barrowman joins reserve squad

February 13, 2019

We are pleased to announce the signing of central midfielder Andrew Barrowman, who announced his arrival by scoring a stunning free-kick in Monday night’s Reserve League 2 win at Stirling Albion.

20-year-old midfielder Barrowman has dual British-American nationality, and has spent most of his career to date in the United States with New England Revolution and in his home town of Chicago, although he previously had a brief spell in Scotland with Rangers.

Reserves coach James Grant told airdriefc.com: “Andrew is a centre-mid who can pick out a pass and has an eye for goal - we’ve already seen that on Monday when he scored a fantastic free-kick in our 5-1 victory at Stirling.

“We’re delighted to welcome Andrew on board, and over time we hope to see him pushing for first-team contention.”
