Hunter goes back to Saints

4th January 2016

Striker George Hunter has returned to his parent club St. Johnstone after the end of his loan deal.

The 19-year-old front man, brought to the club by former boss Gary Bollan, started six times and made five subs appearances for the Diamonds, scoring twice.

George notched on his debut in a 3-2 win over Cowdenbeath and was also on target in the 1-1 draw at Dunfermline.

Now he returns to Tommy Wright’s side richer in experience after his time in League One.

Everyone at the Club would like to wish George well in his future football development.
