Livingston match preview

14th July 2011

AIRDRIE manager Jimmy Boyle says he is looking forward to the start of the new season.

The Diamonds begin the 2011-12 campaign at home to Livingston in the first round of the Ramsdens Cup on Saturday.

Boyle said: "I'm really looking forward to the game and the boys can't wait to get started.

"We have worked really hard during the pre-season and we're hoping to make a good start.

"Livingston at home in the cup is a good game to start off with and we're looking for a positive result."

The Diamonds look set to be without the injured pair of Sean Lynch (ankle) and Graeme Owens (thigh) but Ally Woodburn is expected to be fit for selection.
