SUPPORTERS TRUST MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
3rd August 2011
THE Airdrie United Supporters' Trust is embarking on a membership drive at this Saturday's league opener.
Fans can join the trust by filling in application forms which will be available at the stadium before the Diamonds' Second Division clash with Dumbarton.
The trust, chaired by Willie Marshall, was formed in 2003 and has raised over £40,000 thanks to the support of members, supporters and the local community.
Events organised by the trust include the Schools' Cup competition and the annual player of the year/Hall of Fame dinner. The trust also created the popular 'Airdrie Aces' Young Supporters Club.
Willie said: "Membership is now up for renewal and the continued work of the trust requires individuals to join and become involved.
"By joining, you can have your voice and opinions heard and get involved in helping the club through these tough financial times."
